About Toruknu
amunhayo!
toruknu, meaning 'you with me': the language of unity (also dubbed benjish after me haha)
mainly just a language for my personal use, but it is spoken by a race of people who are the embodiment of hospitality.
aiming for a fairly easy and simple language. hopefully, it'll be easy to learn and understand while still having meaning. with a small phonology inventory of 10 consonants and 4 vowels, toruknu has fairly common sounds that most should be able to pronounce most of the alphabet.
base number system is dozenal (12)
written either using the korean alphabet (hangeul) or less commonly the latin alphabet
though word order doesn't really matter, the subject must always be before the object. default word order is SOV
there is formal toruknu, some words are different but most of the time you use a formal affix
some of my inspirations are tagalog, korean, toki pona, and probably a couple others
