About Takran
L'arrhasys Sylhi!

Imperial Takran, colloquially Taxerrh- is a language of prestige within the Kingdoms of Takra and Eastern Takra, constituents of the Ocraudian Empire- having been the official language of the old Takran Empire, and the language of culture, military, and administration throughout Ocraudia up until the rise of Aelcorx, and its supplanting by the  Aelcorxer language in the 1660s. While it is greatly reduced in prevalence in the centuries since its Kingdom's fall, it still remains the prominent language of the literate in Takra- and is a recognised language in the Empire of its conquerors.

While no longer the language of an Empire, and the go-to tongue of Nobility throughout the Isle; it nonetheless retains great respect, within and without its lands of origin

~~ * ~~

Takran is a fusional language, much like its Aelcorxer cousin, but with a few quirks of its own.

*It distinguishes between Transitive, Intransitive, and Ditransitive forms of a Verb
*It includes clusivity
*Its pronouns and familial relations depend on the gender of the speaker
*Its nouns also inflect in Ablative, Locative, and Instrumental

It's gendered, M/F/N, like Aelcorxer
Its word orders are SOV and OSV
And for the most part, it too lacks articles.
