About Varese
Another language from my conworld Lís, this time I tried very chonky consonant inventory (we got 62 phonemic consonants) with vague Slavic vibes. Cyrillic is used purely because of palatalisation, I simply couldn’t come with reasonable Latin orthography for shit.
Varese is basically a dialect continuum. This page focuses on Western Varese – a language spoken in Varwahok, the capital of the Varia lands (and later the Kingdom of Varia), and its wide mountainous surroundings.
