BORN TO DIE / ABYSS IS A FUCK / 鬼神 Kill The Pale King 1845 PPA / I AM VOID / 410,757,864,530 DEAD HALLOWNESTERS
UNDERGOING COMPLETE REDO
-Predominantly verb-final, OSV most common, but it can be shuffled around a bit for poetry and rhyming as long as the meaning isn't muddled (however there are, inevitably, some poets and songwriters who disdain this as lazy)
-articles that encode case, definiteness and number
-uses construct state for genitive constructions.
-tenses marked with clitics that, in the Huisoasèchi'èth, evolved very straightforwardly from the words 'past' 'now' and 'future'. Other Abyssal languages get more creative, especially Basinese, the Wenzhounese of this family.
Aspects: Perfective, Momentane, Habitual, Continuous, Progressive* Gnomic, Inchoative, Terminative, Iterative)
(Moods: tba)
*Progressive indicates current action, continuous denotes current state.
-maybe some stuff with light verbs?? idk yet
All translations are in the Huisoasèchi'èth, basically Abyssal's Standard Mandarin, which borrows heavily from the language of the Ancient Civilisation, which occupies a status similar to Latin for the Vessels.
