The language belongs to the South Venerable family of the West Osydentalian group and is spoken by almost 60 million people mainly in Virta (where it is one of the two official languages) and its two largest islands (Lé livré and Virtéz).
It is one of the 12 languages of the Galactic Union and one of the two languages spoken in JTK (Intergalactic Organization for the Sick and the Poor, otherwise known as "Intergaláctica".)
This language is also spoken by the Virtanian people who live abroad in their country, ,,Virtuzia".
The Virtanian language shows the closest resemblance to the Slávicia language (Aslava), spoken in the territory of Virta, and the other 5 islands by 85 million people. Aslavica/Aslava was also the first language of the island before the so-called ,,The Great Virtanian Invasion".
