Language type A priori
Species Human/humanoid
About Wessian This language is spoken by a coastal community of humans on the eastern edge of one of the continents. Recent (in the past three hundred years) settlers to the region, their culture is in flux as they adapt to the coastal environment and developing practices based on a newfound dependency on fishing and the sea. They are notable for having recently encountered/discovered the Mare (cousins of the Maari), though it is a neighboring, more influential group, the Vurthians, that has carried out most of the intensive study on their newly discovered neighbors.
