About Wistanian Wistanian is spoken by a fictional people group who live in Wistania, a large, secluded island near the equator of the planet Vale. It was derived from a creole that had developed during a religious/cultural/land war between five people groups who had wished to settle on Wistania’s land. Once the brutal war had finally come to an end, Wistanian was published by a handful of scholars and taught as an advanced language for politics and higher education. Eventually, Wistanian grew rapidly to include communication, commerce, and entertainment, and was taught as a second language to school children. After only a couple of generations, the original five parent languages drifted into archaism and Wistanian became the official language of the nation, spoken fluently by 100% of her citizens.

The language is a mostly analytic and nominative-accusative a priori artlang, currently under it's third (or fourth?) revision. The language is almost completely regular with an exception or two here and there, however, the word order tends to change often, depending on the nature of the verb.
