About Tagira
Tagira is my first conlang. The only stated goal is to help me learn to conlang. I'm not trying to make a naturalistic conlang.
Grammar is a tough subject, but I'm learning as I go. This language is a fun experiment.
Tagira characteristics:
*VSO
*Isolating & Analytical
*Postpositions
*Possessee before possessor
*NO /d/?! -It only occurs sometimes as an intervocalic voiced /t/. Nobody even notices that it's gone...
*There are no question-words, and no questions. It's all imperatives: "tell me", instead of "what?"
*The script is an abugida. The default vowel is 'a'. Vowels are added onto the ends of the base consonant. That makes producing the font difficult to say the least. Here is an outdated example of the script, showing how it looks with vowels attached:
*The language is written without spaces, left to right. It has a ceremonial form that is written in a spiral.
*I decided that each C(V) needs to be written with one stroke of the pen.
The current font is a work-in-progress. It's hard to make a font for a syllabary work.
