About Zarikavan
Romanization is changed. Is it worse now? probably lol!!! some word notes are not updated and use the old system: t = sh; d = zh; c = s
completion: 35.019877019000000003%
deer's favorite fusional and agglutinative junk language! they never heard of navajo or japanese but you'll swear they did! it likes to have a lot of short words, then surprise you with something 40 letters long.
pls check the dictionary: most words have good extra-descriptive notes. articles coming soon, then we can actually speak it 💛 if you can't find a specific noun in "noun", try "phrase"; of course some English words become multiple Zarikavan words.
It's spoken by whitetail deer people who live in canada area, on a earth in which regular humans were not evolved. they have been in society longer than humans, and know very much about math and the universe and that stuff; created advanced technology. even though they are smart, having a cloven opposable hand (like the halo sangheili), and stand bipedally often, they have a lot of cervid anatomy features:
-acute sense of smell
-emotion displays mainly on ears and tail
-partly color blind, but great night vision
-yearly antlers (can be induced by hormones for all genders)
-chew cud (but not often)
-mating season
-short lifespan
-women are naturally socially dominant
and many more.. basically they are a furry type alien.
note to self: gendered adpositions agree with the noun in their parent phrase.

Phonology
[view]Phonological System: Cervidfor beings with cervine muzzles.it's essentially copied over from regular IPA, so that humans can interpret/approximate it in IPA. (there is more we can say than you think) But some sounds are different or impossible for deers, or there are new phonation types of all. (will represent the new stuff soon.)
a. their long mouth causes them inability to round or say the most open of vowels.
b. the "nasal trill" is like when a horse grunts at you of happiness

Syllable Structurevirtually CV, though vowels can be reduced, and there are syllablic consonants represented by "nn" and "n" sometimes. and then, there's that pesky glottal stop
Stress informationso there are a high and low tone, in kind of a pitch-accent system. particles and adpositions have default all moras low tone (they can be marked high). noun and verb have default first mora high and the rest low (except when negated by "an", where the second mora is stressed) but if any high tone is marked, then it is different, and unmarked tones are low.
the last mora of every word, and all inflections, almost always low pitch.
if for some reason a noun or verb has only one mora like <ba> [do/act], its high. if there are two or more consecutive low pitch mora: the second, fourth, sixth, etc. become slightly higher as rhythm.
for examples:
word <hááóhu> [lamp] has three high then one low
<lashali> [male cougar] has one high then two low, but the last is slightly higher for rhythm
<koráan> [speed] has one low then one high then one low. for some reason the later two vowels are said to be of falling tone
finally the "nn" and "e" and other reduced vowels don't count. and despite what the estimated IPA says, prepositions with unmarked tone are all low, as previously stated.

Otherthe f and v are very weak, since our lips are long and internal. although they are possible, it's too much effort for normal speaking. so they are usually rendered as voiced or voiceless labial approximants (footnote 6). b/p/pʰ are also somewhat soft. the pharyngeal trills are a growl.

Additional Notesromanization only. real script syllabary.
the w-series is special because it is completely silent and "absorbs" changes to its vowel. it is probably a way to standardize some words with strange cases.
