About Old Zhethlo
This language is spoken by the people of Damredzan, a mediterranian country not dissimilar to our France or Italy; and a good majority of the rest of the world, as it was the lingua franca of the empire before its collapse. It reflects its culture of origin with its mass of religious and water-faring phrase and metaphor, its rich sound and its emphasis on gender.
