Well,  Proto-Feirie has now become my main lang and as such I am starting a board to document changes made, and write a to-do list. This lang has gotten far out of hand, very quickly, lol.

Well to start, these things need to be done soon:

0.0 MAKE A FLAG DONE
1.0 Start adding counters I"VE STARTED
1.1 Counters act as genitive owners THIS WAS NOTED IN AN ARTICLE
1.2 Numbers affix to the counter (On the Positive side, since numerals are inherently Negative) SO WAS THIS
2.0 Design compounding verb structure (and add to the derivation article) DONE
3.0 Write emotion tone chart article DONE
4.0 Write another article, this time on word order, genitive structure and counter use (all the same thing really) Well this was started but need a lot more done.
5.0 Add more verb moods. TWO HAVE BEEN ADDED. i will add more as i come across things that seem like a mood is the best way to describe it, though
5.1 The liking one. (of which the negative form is the disliking) DONE BUT NEW PROBLEM

Long term projects:

1.0 Design conscript.
1.1 Putting this off for now since CWS doesn't work with vertical conscripts. Will figure out a solution to this later.
1.1.1 Maybe write it horizontally but rotated
1.2 Base it off of the Old Fei Runes
2.0 Import all word roots from  High Fei
3.0 Start on the Phrasebook and Grammer Test
4.0 Finish the Typology page

Well then, I got my work cut our for me. Updates later!

EDIT: also, remember to name the alphabet. i remembered

I've started an article on counters, where I will list them as I add them, which I will do as I need one. I have decided that all counters are a class of nouns, that are now genderless, genitive possessors, and that have the unique property of allowing numbers to be affix onto them.

for instance: "three children" would be:
revollimalu furavollu
child three=breath
literally: "three breaths of children"

Ooooh I like that. What other things are counted by breaths?

Well, using 'breath' for counting children is an informal thing in casual speech, that derives from the word for the slang term for child used here 'revollimalu' which comes from 'revolli + malu' meaning: 'breathy speech'. This is a reference to how children have very noticeable loud breaths while talking and singing. There is actually a another term for children, and a different counter for formal speech.
In formal speech, the counter 'breath' is used to count things that are conscious choices of the body: blinking, breaths, heartbeats (which are controlled manually, connected to the breaths, like dogs), speech, stretching, sniffing, etc.

So. A good thing. I finished the typology page, except for a few things:

Script type: I will enter this when I make the conscript, since I haven't decided yet.

The three relative clause questions: I don't know what those are enough to answer yet. I generally know, but i'm pretty sure my language uses statives verbs as a single word relative clause, based on what other people have said about my lang. so basically idk, idc, and i'll worry about it later.

The closest natlang to Feirie is apparently Burmese at 39% with a 90% accuracy. (followed closely by Japanese and Ancient Egyptian)

So, I read somewhere about a theorized con-lang, that had no verbs, just adjectives that describe processes. I've always wanted to fiddle with this idea, but never dedicated a whole lang to it. But, since I needed a way to compound verbs anyway, I thought I'd play around with it. This is what I came up with:

Two statives, one of the first state and the second of the second state can be compounded together to describe a transitive verb. Some examples using English, since I still need to fill out the statives in Feirie.
hotcold = to cool down (something)
coldhot = to warm up (something)
newold = to age

The stative marker of the first will disappear under non-nasal, non-intervocalic conditions, the and second will change to a 'e'. (marking that the combined word is now transitive)

a pair i can make from "celli + qhhwetsi" (dark + light)
celliqhhwetse = to rise (e.g. sun/moon) (dark to light)
qhhwetscelle = to set (e.g. sun/moon) (light to dark)

With these words, as normal, the first instance of 'e', wherever it is, becomes the ablauting one.

Probably. I don't remember it exactly, but since, its a pretty specific thing, most likely yeah.

So, i've already given several of my consonants stressed/unstressed allophonic pairs. like [ʰɮ / ʰl] and [ʰð͇ / ʰɹ] but now i was reading about labial taps and i thought i would be a cool allophone to my labial ejective. so i started thinking, what if all my ejectives become taps/flaps when unstressed?
[f̹ʼ] would go to [ⱱ̹] and [θ͇ʼ] would probably go to [ɾ].
but [s̻ʼ], [ɕʼ], [xʼ (çʼ)] and [xʼʷ (çʼʷ)] i don't know what i could do. palatal and velars don't have taps. and there is only one alveolar tap, so i don't know what the sibilant would do. mAYBE, [s̻ʼ] could be a sulcalized /ɾ/? for the rest, no clue., other to just not give them unstressed allophones.
What do ya'll this of all this?
