Etymology
From Old Sáharían shála, from Tílthorían shala, from Middle and Early Célibrían shawa, from Proto-Célibrían /ʃɐ.ɸʷɐ/. Shawa was the Célibrían goddess who personified the seas; her name had fully replaced the original word for "ocean" (PC /qʊ.ʃʷɪt/, EC qujet, MC qujen) during the Middle Célibrían period.
