Etymology of creation: 1934. *ûquyVrV 'to love, to covet' (‘ 'to prefer')
Note that the symbol used in the nostratic dictionary doesn’t come across with copy/paste. It isn’t uq, it is some manner of glottalized stop, depicted as a q with a dot beneath it.
Closest Mighty equivalent would be something like: ʡuɪVɹV, which is too many vowels in a row for me, even liking a sing-song tone. So what about ʡaʊʔaʊɹu. Which sounds nicely alien to me. Notes
