adposition ıku jku
[ɪku]*
between
(between)
 Tirina
 ⤷ Not dialect specific
  ⤷ Neutral
Notes
Refers to being between two quantities or qualities (NOT physical objects). Kind of an odd duck; I'm not sure if it's an adposition or a conjunction. Used in the construction "ote [A] ıku [B]" "between [A] and [B]". Usually inclusive.

Examples:
...ote ul ıku hasu. (between 10 and 12; can be 10, 11, or 12)
...ote orelnir ıku dera. (between red and yellow; covers all the reds, all the oranges, and all the yellows)

Something like *"ote akan ıku prinafon" "between the house and the store" is totally ungrammatical; "ınan akan ko prinafon" would be used instead. (lit. "among house and store")
