Etymology
Native Germanic word, from Old Saxon mōi, from Proto-Germanic *mawjaz

Note: Old Saxon ōi is reflected as /e:/ in nouns, but /ɔɪ/ in adjectives in Urban Basanawa, because they were from uninflected forms(which became ôi > ôji > ø̂je > êj) and inflected forms(which became ôia > ôja > ôje > ôj) of Middle Low German respectively.
