noun auth
[auθ]*
water
(element)
 Valendhirdven
 ⤷ Not dialect specific
Etymology
The sea and the sky were seen as "lack of stuff", hollow, since they are somewhat homogenic. The explanation for that was water (since the sky was blue, people thought there was a flying ocean above them, which would be called Sfairór). Therefore, water and hollow meant the same thing, even though those concepts were very differenciated, mainly by the context. That's also why the equivalent verb for water is to clean/erase.
dreseláe - aush "hollow"
old vdv - auth
Notes
verb - to clean/erase hydrate/moisten (object)
Oráuth - to turn (object) into water
water as the element, including all hidric states, including solid (ice), liquid (water) and gas (steam)
