Historically, Hemeshi was written using the Letso-Terminian alphabet as a result of the Terminian Empire's substantial impact on the Hemeshi Peninsula. Today, however, a number of countries use the Letsic alphabet for their own dialects and even for standard Hemeshi. The orthographies used in both scripts are as follows:
