[comments] syqverbsvoice Seretian has three forms of verbs for each level of valency/transitivity. For example:
We sundei = He reads
We mázgid sundaig = He reads a book
We qoe sundoý = He reads to me
We qoe mázgid sundoý = He reads a book to me
The above are all examples of an active sentence. The direct object usually takes -d (accusative) and the indirect object, the dative (-e). With a direct object, the sentence should always be transitive (-aig), and with an indirect object (even without a direct object), it should be ditransitive (-oý).
The passive on the other hand, is not explicitly marked. Instead, the intransitive form of the verb is used (in a transitive sentence) . The agent of the sentence is marked using the accusative case -d.
Biso jardoneili = The car stopped (act intrans) / The car was stopped (pass)
Biso qod jardoneili = The car was stopped by me (pass)
To change that into an active sentence:
Qou bisod jardonaula = I stopped the car (act trans)
