Indefinite countable nouns take "zi" in the singular and in generic plural in most instances.
In a specific plural, indefinite nouns take the numeral that shows the number, and no determiner.

Indefinite uncountable nouns take "rei".

Definite countable nouns take "lu" in the singular and generic plural in most instances.
With a specific plural, the article "lu" fuses with the numeral.

Definite countable nouns take "lu" just like countable ones.

[edit] [top]Plurality

Nouns usually show plurality with full reduplication:

Ke (man) > ke ke (men)

However, nouns with ≥ 3 syllables don't redublicate, instead taking one of two articles depending on definiteness:

Nang katake (some authors)

Al katake (The authors)
