Syllable StructureThe syllable structure of Nuvo is generally (C)V(C), although there are many constrictions for cross-syllabic clustering. For example, you cannot have two consonants with the same place of articulation, and you also cannot have two consonants of the same articulation type, ex. mn, tp, sch, ect ect. So basically just use good judgement.
Stress informationStress generally falls on the second to last syllable, like many English words, but when an affix is applied, the stress lies on the second to last syllable of the word without any attached affixes. In the event of an irregular affix, the stress would likely be on the second to last syllable relative to the non-affixed word. When an affix is applied to a one syllable word, the stress lies on the second to last syllable.
