About Sikrīn
Sikrīn is the language of the Sikri people, a diasporic culture indigenous to the Sathâta river valley, on the eastern edge of the Inner Sea.
[OOC: Sikrīn is meant to be vaguely reminiscent of Hebrew, hopefully without being too obvious about it. If you notice any similarities, that's why.]

Stress informationStress is on the last syllable by default. A vowel with an acute (e.g. <á>) or circumflex (e.g. <â>) diacritic indicates that its syllable is stressed instead. If a word contains more than one acute or circumflex, the last one gets primary stress.
Other[ʋ~w], [f~ɸ], [v~β], [x~χ], [ʁ~ʀ], [h~ħ], [ä~a~ɐ~ɑ], [ɛ~e̞], [o~ɔ̝] are all in free variation.
/ɛ/ can be pronounced [ɜ~œ̜] when unstressed immediately following the first consonant in a word.
/ʁ/ becomes [r] when the following consonant is /x/.
