[edit] [top]What is the Demlang?

The Demlang (The Democratic Language) is an experiment of making an international auxiliary language through the use of universal suffrage and democracy. All aspects of the Demlang are built using those principles of universal suffrage and democracy, and also must abide by the rules and the words of the Demlang Constitution.
[edit] [top]Process of building the aspects/traits of the Demlang

The normal procedure of building an aspect or a trait is as follows
1. The Chairman of the Demlang announces the aspect or trait to be decided on the week at the beginning of the week.
2. Demlangers propose a trait to be voted on. The proposal submission time lapses at the end of the day.
3. After the proposal submission time ends, no more submissions will be accepted, however, submitted entries before the time lapse may be edited by the submitter
4. All proposals are then are put into a vote on Saturday. Depending on the number of proposals and the number of votes of the proposals, the most proposals with a significant popularity are put into the second round.
5. Finally, on the Sunday of every week, the final vote is held. The most popular voted of those proposals is then made an aspect of the Demlang.
5.1. However glass concaves are a possible and have happened before in these votes. If that is ever to happen, a compromise must must be made between the two submitters of the proposals. An example is that Qaniujaaqpait (Kénjo | ᑲ.ᓐᔪ |  Demlang (Qaniujaaqpait)) and Teletubbies (Dylydébis | dylydEbiS |  Demlang (Teletubbies)) are both made an official script under equal terms after they both reached a glass concave.
