Writing System

Writing Direction

Jinyomeko has two writing directions:

Vertical () - Written top to bottom from right to left. Similar to the upright writing of Chinese and Japanese. Is the traditional way to write and is mostly used in physical typography, art, and books/comics.

Horizontal () - Written left to right from top to bottom. Similar to English, and is the modern way to write. Is mostly used in digital typography, horizontal signs, and official government documentation/paperwork.
