The Sarawa Republic is a country of the 31st World, it is located on the Sarawa Peninsula of the Mamre Continent of the Earth of the 31st World. The only country that shares land borders with the Sarawa Republic is the Mata Federation. The total area is around 400,000 km2, and the total population is about 120,000,000, and 99% of the total population are ethnic Sarawa people.

Although the constitution law guarantees political freedoms, and the People's Party, the Democratic Party, the Republic Party and the Labour Party take turns to govern the county, all of them actually belong to the same league called the People's League and have very similar ideologies, and the parties that form the People's League are the only legal parties of the country of the Sarawa Republic, besides these parties, there's no actual political freedom in Sarawa Republic.

Despite being ethnically highly homogeneous and next to the economically prosperous Mata Federation, the Sarawa Republic is one of the poorest countries in the 31st World, with its GDP per capita being around 600USD; besides, the Sarawa Republic has a totalitarian government, and the Sarawa Republic is locked up and rejects any trades with foreign countries, especially the Mata Federation.

During the industrial era, the Sarawa Empire, the precedent of the Sarawa Republic, was one of the first countries that became industrialized in the area, but it was eventually defeated by the Mata Federation, which led to the down fall of the monarchy, which had allegedly been held by the same family for more than 2,500 years.

After the downfall of the monarchy, the Sarawa Republic fell into a series of civil wars, and eventually the People's League, which consists of four political parties, rose to power. The People's League ended the civil wars and became the leader and the only legal political groups of the country until now. While cult of personality or family dictatorship has not arisen in Sarawa Republic under the regime of the People's League, the government is highly xenophobic and has locked up the whole country in the name of nationalism and public safety.
