The Inkling Fan-Conlang  Kuilan (ink was taken) is a constructed language based on the video game Splatoon, developed mainly on Squidboards by a bunch of people nerdy enough to do just that. I'm not the chief nerd, however. squidboards thread link

This conlang has similar phonology to English, and very simple grammar. There are no conjugations, noun numbers, or noun genders. Time is notated with particles, and so are questions, commands, and passive tense.

This conlang has a conscript. It is a syllabary with some letters that stand for multiple syllables. The shapes of letters are based on the text seen in-game.

For example, ConWorkShop in Inkling is kožaboišaipai (No conscript set up) (kožaboišaipai) [koʑaˈboiɕaipai], a combination of koža /ˈkoʑa/ (artificial), boi /boi/ (language), -šai /ɕai/ (adjective marker), and pai /pai/ (place).
