About Aamyeriets This is a language I've been working on for several years in various forms. Most of the work here is the most recent version of it, the first one with the name Aamyeriets, and the first one for which I've written a cohesive grammar.

The history of the language can best be summarized as follows.

A chunk of the USA declares independence in the midst of political unrest in an alternate timeline. The government of the new country (whether or not this was really a good idea) decided that a national identity needed to be formed quickly, and their plan was to design a language native to the region, taking elements from the languages of the countries that helped in their revolution, namely Russia and China. After going through a period of having a boring "republic of" name, they changed it to Eutliis, a word that in Aamyeriets carries a sense of the new governments national philosophy: consent of the governed, separation of powers, and the right of the citizenry to revolt and set up a new government if necessary and proper.

Aamyeriets is an isolating language. There are three main dialects: the Technical dialect, used to communicate in scientific texts where the utmost specificity is demanded; Standard, used in most formal settings, such as school, business, and other professional settings; and the Familiar, which is a vulgar dialect that began to be documented after native speakers were brought up in it. This is supposed to only be used in informal settings, such as within the casual conversations of friends and family.
