Àbhradoch (àḃradoċ) is an a priori language spoken on the isolated island of Àbhra. Those who speak it are called the Àbhradar (SGSingular (number)
one countable entity Àbhradon).
The language was originally (fairly obviously) inspired by Goidelic languages, in particular Scottish Gaelic. Over time it's developed into more of its own unique entity with several changes, including a more complex synthetic grammar, extremely irregular plurals, and Germanic-like separable verb constructions, though many of the original elements remain.
