About Parinawun (Western Zudaese) Parinawun is spoken in the region of Parinau (Prnw, /paɾinau/), the western part of the continent Zuda (Zd /zɔd/ in CXZ) on the planet Boden (Tnw /tinau/ in CXZ), and the island chains to its west and south. The two main speaker populations are the Parinawuzyth (Prnwzth, /paɾinawʊzəθ/) on the mainland, and the Riminazyth (Rmnzth, /ɾiminazəθ/) peoples on the islands.

This language is called cushuscei Sudin stishin, "Western Zudaese", by the Carebin Empire (speakers of  Standard Bodin), which has colonized a few of the southern Riminan islands but been so far unable to expand its reach into the mainland.

Parinawun is written with a vertical abjad script without vowel marks - vowels depend strictly on the previous and following consonants. Its romanization likewise is written without vowels.

Subject-second word order analogous to German's verb-second word order. That is, the word order is usually VSO, but if you add an adverb or prepositional phrase at the beginning of the sentence, it becomes SVO (and the verb loses its -f ending). (The verb also loses the -f if a subject pronoun ending is suffixed to it.)

Syllable StructureSyllables are CVC or CVV at the end of multi-syllable words, and CV everywhere else.
Stress informationIn words with even numbers of syllables, primary stress is usually placed on the penultimate syllable with secondary stress on the first syllable. The exception is if there is a diphthong or long vowel in the last syllable, in which case primary stress is on the last syllable, with secondary stress still on the first syllable.
In words with odd numbers of syllables, primary stress is usually placed on the antepenultimate syllable with secondary stress on the last syllable (and on the first syllable, if there are 5 or more syllables).
As the plural direct case ending and all genitive case endings add an odd number of syllables, this means that plural direct nouns, and genitive nouns, may have different stress patterns than the "default" direct singular form. (Ex. direct Prnw /'pa ɾi ,nau/ vs genitive Prnwn /,pa ɾi 'na wun/)
