About Deyrlich
Deyrlich is the language of the Ildeyrra or what we might call Wizards. The language spoken by magic users all over the world since its fairly recent development around the sixteenth century by the Global Council for Magical Cooperation (GCMC). Deyrlich was created to make cooperation between magical governments easier and provide a more covert and secretive way for Wizards to disseminate and record information. Wizarding governments all over the world use it to communicate, and this shared linguistic background also makes it much easier for Wizards to find community anywhere in the world, whether that be for school, work, or the sudden need to go into hiding.
