About Hanea
“ejenumdji semeha dji išiahahu eam driahu hanea”
ejenumdji semeha dji iʃiahahu eam driahu hanea
Hanea is the language spoken primarily by the Faeries* living on a large island cluster.
The language has two written scripts; the first being written Top to Bottom, and the second (seen here) being adapted into Left to Right by Dal-Hanea dialect speakers as it was more convenient in the area they reside. The sounds o and ə share a single letter, and differences in pronunciation are less strict on the two.
Hanea is almost strictly SOV, though the Fae have a habit of mixing their word order around for the fun of it; both to confuse people and see how far they can go while still being understood. The language contains many very specific words and features to get your thoughts across as clearly as possible, but the Fae often use very vague and nonspecific language, and metaphors and the like are very common.

[edit] [view] Dalea (Dal-Hanea)Dal-Hanea (lit. North Hanea) is spoken by elven communities to the north-east. Locally known as Dalea (lit. North Language).
Considered as sounding somewhat "lazier" than standard Hanea; a lot of vocabulary/phrases being shortened or containing vowel changes (often /e/ - /ə/, /i/ - /ɪ/, or /æ/ - /ə/\/a/ (which aren't always reflected in written form)). More common omittance of obj. markers and pronoun conj.
Speakers often pronounce verb ending -te closer to /tʰɯ̆/ or /tʰœ̆/ rather than /te/
