About Island German
A posteriori Germanic language with little non-German influence. I don't actually speak German. A notable pattern of word change is becoming , and becoming . I don't know how mutually intelligible this is with German, but I see connections to some English words. It is spoken on Veztaincel which is a German territory in the North Sea, but was occupied by England for 12 years.
