About Inglang During the Great Plague (1665-1666), a hundred Londoners fled England to a small island in the Atlantic Ocean, which they named Ingloe. Then, they invented a language, Inglok (Inglang in English) because they thought God created the plague to punish humans, and if God couldn't understand them, he would spare them.
