About Immortal Pidgin HF-A
Sort of like an International Auxiliary Lang, but created and only spoken by like 2-3 immortals. From the same universe as the Elder language family. (See
Proto-Angel-Old-Ones-Demonic).
Primary word order is VSO, pulling from Old, Classical, and Middle Egyptian.
It pulls mostly originally from (Vulgar) Latin, but also from Old Arabic and Ancient Greek, with minor/later contributions from assorted Germanic and Western Romance Languages.
There are two main dialects: HF-A and HF-D. These correspond to two in-universe timelines which diverged in ~1096 CE, right before the last major development stage of both dialects. Other timelines exist but did not split early enough to have a significant impact on the language. HF-A has no native speakers while HF-D has exactly one (the two immortals adopted a kid). In Timeline B, HF-A likely has some significant interactions with Sewer Speak, another fictional Auxlang that I have yet to start any solid work on developing. As such, I may create an HF-B dialect at some point in the future.
Other "dialects" will be used to indicate how the language's grammar and lexicon shifts over time.
