About Kęcha
Spoken in what is now northeastern Ebo Nganagam around 1500 CE. The ancestor of the small Kencha language family.
META: phonology mostly from Gleb, core of language created in 24 hours. However, I've continued to work on it a lot since then.
The language is mostly VOS and isolating, with main inflections for Aktionsart, speaker attitude, gender, number, size, case, and visibility. There is a highly productive system of sound symbolism expressing both salience and size/brightness.
PM me if you want the current revision of the grammar and lexicon— it's actually pretty solid but I'm not putting it on CWS for the time being.
<`> kerns weirdly on CWS for some reason but I'll go with it.
