About Mahrahussain
Mahrahussain is another one of my languages. It was originally created to be rather simplistic, but through evolving a lot, as well as adding two whistling sounds (both voiced and voiceless) it has come to possess a monster phonology.
It is also rather notable due to the interesting grammar it possesses. Animacy is both important and somewhat difficult to grasp for anyone who doesn't speak it natively (i.e: everyone). Words are divided into six animacy groups for nouns, including objects, places, animate life-forms, produced things, concepts and parts of a larger whole, and vowels are divided into two - activities, where the action is deliberate and with intention, and non-activities, where no more is needed. As such, there are different words for 'to name something', or 'šenī', and 'to be named'; 'šešŏ', as well as other examples of this concept. It also means that to focus on a different aspect of something will change the way you say it - to focus on the fact that a nail has been manufactured, you use the word 'iľtiř', but to focus on the fact that it holds a ship together, you use 'iľtiġ'. Even further, if you pick up a nail on its own, then it is simply an 'iľtin'.
That's all for now.
