About Proto-Utobbi
Combination of a posteriori and proto-conlang. Based primarily off of Proto-Indo-European, especially pertaining to phonology. Initially conceived as a language to be used in Minecraft, has since blossomed into a larger project. The major phonological changes include additions to the nasal series, a phonemic voiced counterpart to the sibilant phoneme, and some changes to sound rules. Numeral system is base-8 (octal), as items are stacked in multiples of eight in Minecraft. Grammatical genders are hostile, neutral, and passive.
I may end up splitting the Utobbic languages into two sister projects: one, where I maintain the influence of Minecraft; and another, where I make the languages a little more like the real world Indo-European languages, with corresponding grammatical genders and a base-10 system.
