About Reyekian
Reyekian (ᚱᛖᛃᛃᛖᚲᛗᚨᚨᛚ, reijekmɑ:l) is a North Germanic language descended directly from Old Norse. It is spoken by around 10,000 people in the Reyek Isles, a part of the Moonshae Island chain. Reyekian has a number of notable sound changes from Old Norse, such as a dropping of final vowels, fricativisation of final voiceless stops, removal of /g/ in exchange for /χ/ and other such changes.
