About Riziyati
Riziyati, or natively Riziyatyam, is a language spoken in the fictional world of Shetelkh. It is the world's most widely spoken language by number of native speakers. More than 300 million people speak it as a native language, while millions more are forced to know it, as it is the lingua franca of the Riziyati Republic and all its subordinate territories.
It is a member of the Eastern branch of the Vien Rizan language family. Its closest linguistic relative is Khen'am.

The dialect is distinct for its flowery vocabulary and ornate writing. Grammar is strict and directs the writer towards more poetic forms.
[edit] [view] Riziyatyam Deyüdzhe (Upper Riziyati)Upper Riziyati (Ri: Riziyatyam Deyüdzhe) is a dialect of the Riziyati language spoken in the macroregion of Upper Larahnad. Its speakers use characteristically less flowery language than their lower counterparts, and prefer to speak in a more laconic fashion. For this reason, the dialect is less grammatically strict, but uses more agglutination and nominalization to easily create new words and terms.
