About Tatatouń
Accompanying Ancient Sign in Northern Vessel society, Tatatouń (The Vesseltongue name for it, considered slightly derogatory) was invented by the 6th Crownbearer of the Northern Monarchy, Crownbearer Beast-Feller-Beloved-Of-Their-Kin. It is used for public announcements (as people who would be unable to see someone signing can hear it), speaking to social superiors (including the Crownbearer themselves), and for TBA purposes. A written form exists, but was used only by government officials recording royal proclamations, to avoid the tedium of translating it into the highly complicated sign-writing system.
