About Meluna Meluna ("Our Speaking") is the mother language of a small island named Mekou ("Our Land") located seemingly in the middle of an ocean. Inside of it lies a tropical forest where the wood, bark, and leaves of each tree and the grass has a blue tint to it, and on each edge lies a beach of sand. At the very center lies a mysterious mountain with a large hole at the top leading to the center. The people of Mekou believed that the mountain was of the gods. Eventually, the people turned the mountain into a temple for worshiping them. However, people remained in the villages they had come from. Each village of Mekou was fairly isolated due to the large amount of trees between each one. They all speak Meluna, however that is soon to change into different dialects, and then different languages. Though they're isolated, every once in a while, they all go the temple at the center of the island to honor the gods, where each family must give up a portion of their food to the gods, and people do this hoping they will receive good luck in return. Each tribe wears different clothing, depending on which class they're in to differentiate themselves. The classes are Priests, the ones who claim to maintain the link between the gods and the people of Mekou, the Tribe Leaders, the ones who manage the work of their peasants, and the Peasants, the working class, the ones who have a variety of different jobs to contribute to their village. The peasants are not actually treated very poorly, unless they had committed an act against the gods or against their tribe, to where they are put in a dungeon.

Anyways, about the language Meluna, it is an OVS language, and is strictly head-final, even when it occasionally switches to OSV for relative clauses. It is an agglutinative language, though mainly on the verbs, where they are conjugated by tense, aspect, person, and number, and even mood in a way (with the future and ability auxiliaries put in past tense).
