About Lake Gamko Language
Lake Gamko Language is a Sinitic language belonging to the Sino-Tibetan language family.
While the Lake Gamko Language has at most few loanwords from other langauges, it shows possible influences from substratum languages on its grammar, including putting adverbial phrases after the direct object, the use of definite article and the prominence of postnominal relative clauses.
There are three phonemic tones for single syllables said in isolation, but like Shanghainese, the use of tones are diminishing, and in the Lake Gamko Language, phrases and sentences have pitch accents rather than tones, sometimes even the pitch accents are not used.
The name of the Lake Gamko is from a substrate language speaking in the area.
