Ikant is spoken on the snow-capped mountains near Zairiit (home of 
Azra and 
T'eaj). Being a dormant volcano, the caves inside the mountain are naturally warm, and suitable for growing many plants, including ones imported from more humid environments like Zairiit. This is a major source of food for the local people. Some of the caves contain hotsprings and are otherwise humid - which makes them unsuitable to Bearers who often struggle to breathe in the thicker air. The inshospitable conditions induce hibernation/estivation (as does the jungle's humidity in Zairiit), so it is sometimes used to deliberately induce hibernation, and in modern times is a tourist location for hibernation vacation.Comments
