In Lundian there is a distinction between animate and inanimate nouns (with exceptions of course)
for example:
i xana na anei I want water/ I want some water
i ta an plume I have a flower
Definite article (the)
i -for singular animate nouns
ci -for singular inanimate nouns
ni -for all plural nouns
Indefinite article
ia -for singular animate nouns
an -for singular inanimate nouns
na -for all plural nouns ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
