Gender:
In Aomiyama, most nouns can only have gender when a suffix is added.
The suffix for male nouns is צפר (so:), and the suffix for female nouns is לפר (ʃo:).
Example: פףתןהפ (owaiɾo) means "dog", פףתןהפצפר (owaiɾoso:) means "male dog", and פףתןהפלפר (owaiɾoʃo:) means "female dog".
Number:
Aomiyaman nouns do not have a plural form, but you can put a number before the noun to make it plural.
Example: צפרבתן פףתןהפ (so:kai owaiɾo) means "three dogs".
Possession:
To show that a noun is owning something, add the suffix חתן (nai), there are some specific possession forms for pronouns that you will read later in the "Pronouns" section.
Example: פףתןהפחתן פףתןהפ (owaiɾonai owaiɾo) means "(a/the)1 dog's dog".
1 any time there are parenthesis around a word or words, that means the word or words are not actually in the translation.
Topic and Subject Particle
The particle צת (sa) is placed after the subject or topic.
Example: חן צת תסרבן (ni sa amuki) means "I ate".
Object Particle:
The particle ףפ (wo) is placed after the object.
Example: חן צת בפקפסת ףפ תסרבן (ni sa kotoma wo amuki) means "I ate (a/the) banana".
Location Particle:
The particle שת (ja) is placed after the location of the place of what the sentence described happened.
Example: חן צת בפקפסת ףפ פףתןהפחתן בתחתן שת תסרבן (ni sa kotoma wo owaiɾonai kanai ja amuki) means "I ate (a/the) banana at (a/the) dog's house".
Afftecting Particle:
The particle צתן (sai) is placed after the noun or pronoun that is being affected or receiving something.
Example: חן צת פערבר ףפ חפסר צתן ןקפבן (ni sa ot͡suku wo nomu sai itoki) I gave (a/the) apple to you.
Directional Particle:
The particle תבתפ (akao) is placed after the place the noun or pronoun is going to.
Example: חן צת ןשתברסת תבתפ מןבתןבן (ni sa ijakuma akao t͡ʃikaiki) means "I went to Iyakuma".
