This whole article maps out where the moods of the Akali-Emisian family come from. In all languages except for Proto-Akali-Emisian, each mood is followed by a set of parentheses. The first thing in these parentheses will be where the phonological affix comes from, be it a word or an older affix; this will be followed by a semicolon, describing what older moods are included; if there is another semicolon, the information after that is any further important information.
