About Classical Akalix
T sa aôcèval maAlix!

/tʰa ,saʔa'matse:,val ma'ʔakʰa,lix/

Hello and enjoy the Akalix language!

Classical Akalix (sometimes written as Akalikh, as a phonetic but non-historical representation), written ìAlix in its native orthography, was the language of the Akali people from 800 to 300 NWJ. The language is primarily agglutinative, and could be argued to be polysynthetic, although the Akali-Pasan languages are decidedly less polysynthetic than their relatives to the north. Not spoken natively since 300 NWJ, it operated as a Lingua Franca until around 200 NXW, and is still used in certain limited situations (such as the abbreviations NWJ and NXJ, which come from it).
Akalix and its descendants are the southernmost edge of the Akali-Emisian language family. The Akali were a Pasan tribe who traveled south, while the remaining Pasati remained in their homeland.
