Reduplication is full and the functions differ depending on the part of speech being duplicated.Verb: Habitual or Continuous aspect
Noun: Makes the noun more general, in some dialects reduplication makes the noun plural
Adjective: Amplification, usually but not always SUPSuperlative (comparison)
English 'most', '-est'
Adverb: If an adverb of time the meaning is amplified as with adjectives e.g 'often' becomes 'often often' meaning 'most of the time'
For all other adverbs the meaning is generalised e.g 'commonly commonly' means almost all the time etc
