About Aelspauk
Ælspák we created for a novel that was being written by a friend. In the novel, sailors are taken captive by raiders from a fictional land called Krónæl, which is based on Iceland, and who didn't speak English.
For that reason, the language is quite heavily influenced by Icelandic and Norwegian, though the grammar is closer to Old Norse.
