[edit] [view] šīšānȅč tāthanc (Coastal Dworam (OLD))Coastal Dworam shares a large amount of vocabulary with Plains Dworam, with its main difference being a lack of consonant mutation.
[edit] [view] kahnacȅč tāthanc (Mountain Dworam (OLD))Variant of Dworam spoken in the {placeholder} mountains and their foothills. Instead of a long/short vowel distinction, Dworam has separate vowels of the same length in place of the long vowels of other dialects. [ā] is /ɑ/, [ē] is /ɛ/, [ȅ] is /ʌ/, [ī] is /ɪ/, [ō] is /ɔ/ and [ū] is /ʊ/ , as well as other phonological differences.
Certain dialectical words are the result of a duplicate vowel on either side of a consonant being deleted.
