About Langua Espella
The Langua Espella is a language of the world of Amithia, It is primarily used in sacred and mystical incantations and spells. It is actively spoken by the Sages of The Good Light, who strive to rid the realm of dark influences.
It is traditional belief that the language originates from an alternate dimension, and was telepathically taught to the ancient people of Amithia. Reputed for powerful healing and magical properties, it is said that each utterance of a complete word disrupts the life energy of the dark creatures from Nenciathia, a hellish realm from which all evil sprouts. In this line of belief, the language has received special recognition from the higher beings of Ascenthia.
The Langua Espella has some influences from Ascenthian Calaca, which is thought to be the language of the Ascenthian beings. Nenciathian beings speak a related language called Nenciathian Kaaraka.
The language was originally called Litanus. It is referred to by this name occasionally.
